Sandwich panels for transportation are formed in packs with height up to 1,1 meter , which stand on a pallet with pads made of PVC between the panels, which are being packed in thick plastic film and are fixed with the help of plastic ropes.

With the width of panels in 60 mm, there are 18 panels in one pack, if the width of a panel is 100 mm , there 10 panels in the pack. Such pack provides quality transportation and storage of sandwich panels.

During transportation by vehicles, open platforms or open onboard vehicles are used. Width from one board to another shouldn’t be less than 2 450 mm in order to put the packs in two rows in full width.
The length of vehicles should fit for the length of sandwich panels that are being transported. While transportation textile ropes are required in order to tight up packs.

It’s forbidden to load packs with panels on cargo already existing on vehicle or under any other cargo, which can cause damage to sandwich panels.

The packs should not be in contact with sides of the vehicle.

Unloading of sandwich panels of strictly one piece is executed by means of crane with the help of traverse with fixed pack by sling one by one.

While lifting pack the center of gravity should be taken into consideration and must be matched with center of traverse.

Sandwich panels are allowed to be transported by railway transport as well.

During railway transportation sandwich panel packs should be additionally packed into wooden boxes, which are loaded into carriage and fixed in order to prevent movement of the boxes.

Unloading should be provided by mechanical tools. Hand unloading is not recommended.
It is strictly forbidden to throw, drag, drop and etc.
